Residential Private Property Grant Program
Dear Mascotte Residents,
The City of Mascotte's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is excited to announce the launch of the Residential Private Property Grant Program, designed to help residential property owners and tenants within the CRA district make exterior improvements to their properties. This program provides financial assistance for repairs and upgrades that enhance the appearance of your property’s façade.
Eligible Improvements:
- Exterior painting (including prep work like pressure cleaning)
- Porch or deck repairs (front-facing only)
- Installation of new windows, doors, or awnings
- Driveway repaving
- Removal of visible chain link fences
- Exterior structure lighting
Eligibility Requirements:
- Property must be within the CRA district
- Applicant must be a property owner or tenant (with property owner consent)
- The project cost must exceed $1,000
- Must have no outstanding code violations or unpaid taxes
- Work must be visible from the street
Grant Details:
- For single-family homes: Up to $3,000, with 90% of eligible costs covered
- For multi-family properties: Up to $5,000, with 75% of eligible costs covered
- Projects must be completed within 3 months of funding approval
How to Apply:
- Complete the application form
- Provide necessary documentation (proof of contractor license, tax payments, photos of current conditions, etc.)
- Submit to: Community Redevelopment Agency, Attn: Private Property Grant Program, 100 E Myers Blvd, Mascotte, FL 34753
Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, as long as funding is available.
