It is the goal of the Recreation Department to provide and promote recreational activities that appeal to and accommodate the current and future needs of our citizens.  To ensure the City of Mascotte is able to accomplish this goal, we will continue to explore additions to our existing programs and make improvements to our current services

This site will provide you with the most informative and up-to-date information on our programs and parks in the City of Mascotte.

The City has received some inquiries as to renovations taking place at two of our parks. 

Sunset Lake Park is located of of S. Sunset Blvd.  The project is for the most part completed with the exception of a few benches yet to be installed. This park has had a fishig pier as well as kayak launch site installed.  The ribbon cutting is scheduled to take place on July 23, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. Below is a picture of the completed park. 

The Sports Complex, located off of Park Road will be receiving new lighting, two new baseball fields with new dugouts, benches for spectators, a new soccer field, retention pond with a walking path, play area, new concession and bathrooms as well as an area food food truck events.  We are looking to have this project completed the end of September.

Low impact medium intense moves to Latin music that can be adapted to low or high intensity. 

Class is 45 minutes with 12 minutes CIRCL mobility.

Bring your water, a yoga mat, and lets dance!

Classes are at 6:30p.m. every Monday & Thursday at the Mascotte Civic Center located at 121 N. Sunset Rd. with an additional class that is held in Groveland on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. 

Class fee is $6.00
